Greenquarries Shooting Ground is situated 9 miles southwest of Carlisle, on the fringe of the Lake District National Park and only 12 miles from junction 41 of the M6.

From The South

Exit M6 at junction 41 and take B5305 to Wigton. Continue on this road, through village of Sebergham then take next road to right (B5299 signposted Welton, Dalston & Carlisle), go through Welton village and turn first left for Greenquarries. The shooting ground is about 1.2 miles along this road on the right-hand side.

From The North

A74 then M6, exit at junction 42, take the road to Dalston. On joining the village of Dalston, turn left, stay on this road heading for Welton/Caldbeck . Just before Welton village take a right turn for Greenquarries. The shooting ground is about 1.2 miles along this road on the right-hand side.

From The North East

Take A69 through Hexham and continue on this road until you reach roundabout of junction 43 on the M6, head South down M6 and take next exit (Junction 42), taking the road to Dalston. On joining the village of Dalston, turn left, stay on this road heading for Welton/Caldbeck. Just before Welton village take a right turn for Greenquarries. The shooting ground is about 1.2 miles along this road on the right-hand side.

From The West

Take the A595 to Carlisle but turn right on the B5305 signposted Penrith and the M6. On passing through the village of Rosley, take next left turning onto the B5299 signposted Welton, Dalston & Carlisle. go through village of Welton and turn first left for Greenquarries. The shooting ground is about 1.2 miles along this road on the right-hand side.
